In a recent release (21.04.21) we introduced the Ideas Portal, allowing customers to suggest and vote on improvements to our system.  Your response has been fantastic and we are delighted to offer two new features which were suggested and voted for by you, our customers.

Jobs

Colour-Coded Job Types

Colour-Coded Job Types

Area We are Addressing

It would be helpful if Job Types were indicated by colour-coding to provide an at-a-glance overview, in a similar way to flags.

What’s New

When you create/edit a Job Type (My account > Administration > [side menu] Schedule > Job types) a new field, Colour, allows you to attribute a colour to it.

On the Schedule tab, you will then see that where Job colour field appears on the Display filter, Job type has been added as a filterable option

Templates

Customise PDF Template File Name

When a PDF document is created from a template, the file name of the resulting PDF makes it difficult to identify.  It would also be helpful if keywords could be included in the file name to make them more meaningful for customers.

What’s New 

When setting up a template, the user will be offered the option to change the file name using free text and keywords.

When setting a PDF usage for jobcards and financial documents, users can opt to change the file name, rather than take it from the main template.

Please note that some keywords (such as sub templates, formulas and links are unavailable).

Network

When a user is choosing possible partners on the Network listings page, it would be helpful if there was additional information available to aid the selection process.

What’s New

Customers now have the option to add 2 new elements to their Network listing. New search options on the Network page allow users to filter and view information based on either of these new fields.

  1. Accreditations –  You can now improve the information available to network partners by adding one or more accreditations you have achieved to your listing. These can be selected from a preset list, set up in BigOp.  Note that options will differ depending on the country your listing is created against. 

  2. Insurance cover – Additional fields allow you to add your cover details so that they will be viewable on their listings.

Implement JudoPay 3DS for Every Payment

As part of ongoing credit card security enhancements, a new process called 3D Secure is being implemented by all card payment companies. This is due to be made mandatory this summer. Adding 3D Secure to our JudoPay will increase payment security for our customers.

What’s New

Customers will continue to be able to use Judo Pay as normal during this transition period, however, we recommend that customers contact Judo to ascertain their new tokens and populate the new fields in Administration to ensure their service is uninterrupted.

Calculation Options for Resent Invoices

Calculation Options for Re-sent Invoices

When an invoice is re-sent, customers would like the option to revise the due date for the invoice eg if payment terms are 30 days and invoice 1 is sent on 12th May and then resent on the 19th May, they would like the option to change the due date from the 11th June to the 18th June.

What’s New

Navigate: My account > Administration > [Quick links] General account settings > [section] Financial > Overdue calculation resending invoice

You can opt to either count 30 days from the sending of the invoice, ie 11th June in our example, or from the time when it is re-sent, 18th June in our example.

Our Vehicle Checks feature is widely used and loved by customers. However, we feel that it would be even better if reconfigured to include full Worksheet functionality with additions such as activity logging and improved defect reporting.

What’s New

A full overhaul of this area is being carried out, introducing lots of additional functionality, including some fantastic new functionality around enhanced defect reporting.

This release makes available the web functionality, however in order for resources to make use of this on the app, they will require the next version of JobWatch. Release notes will be published when this functionality is made available in iOS and Android.
