This feature provides a table of data which allows you to monitor the following user login activities:
- Successful login
- Log out
- Failed login
- Data subject access request
- When items are created.
- Scheduling of jobs
- Exports and updates of items
- Auto login
NB: Login sessions will only be recorded if a user logs out from the site (My Account -> Sign Out), or signs in from a different computer.
Viewing User Events
This can be accessed in the following way:
Click on My Account -> Administration:
Next, look at the menu on the left hand of your screen and click on 1) Account and 2) User events:
You will now see a popup menu which by default will show only the current day. Complete fields (1) start date and (2) end date from the calendar and select (3) user, (4) action and (5) entity with the desired information from the drop down menus:
A more detailed view of the selection options for (4) and (5) are shown below. Note you can also filter based on web users who don’t have an active license:
You will now have a table of data showing the results. An example can be seen below:
You can export the current view to Excel, by providing the email address you want the export to be emailed to after clicking on the Export CSV icon.
You can view any alterations using the option to ‘display changes’ when entities have been updated. When this option is selected, the updated fields are highlighted.
Clicking on the eye icon will open the item.
Worksheets on a job are also logged.
Restore Web User
Where a web user has been accidentally deleted, User Events is where they can be restored. Navigate: My account > Administration > [Quick links] General account settings > [side menu] Account settings > User events. Simply click on the event, followed by the Restore icon and save.
